Mgr.,Fin.Design & Construction | MSKCC | New York, NY Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education. Reporting directly to the General Manager, will assist in the management of the financial operations for the Facilities Design and Construction Department, acting in the General Manager's capacity when GM is not available. Duties include: coordinating the schedule and activities of a team of financial professionals, synthesizing the work of the General Manager with respect to developing, implementing, and auditing financial management controls. Manage and configure, with point-of contact responsibiliti8es, the construction finance software. Act as liaison between the General Manager, the finance department, and the project management team in the Facilities Design & Construction department. JOB REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS Finance or equivalent field (e.g., accounting, statistics). A graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MIS) is preferred. Bachelor's degree we require a minimum of 5 years experience, 2 in auditing and 3+ in the construction finance field. Master's degree a minimum of 3 years experience with some combination in audit and construction finance management. CPA license and CISSP, CISM certification preferred. Must be skilled in the use of project management software to manage the Udesigner of the Unifer Program (a system built to design workflow). Training in this system will be provided. Must be able to deal with construction professional and demonstrate knowledge of construction practices. Ability to read and understand construction documents, including contracts, is required.
